4 Tips for Getting Pregnant
Tip # 1. To get pregnant faster have sex three times a week.
Couples often do not have sex when the woman is not ovulating however regular sex is the best way to get pregnant. Sex that is not performed within the time of ovulation will not result in pregnancy. Having it 3 times a week will help them to cover the period when the woman is not ovulating.
Tip # 2. To get pregnant faster use an ovulation prediction kit or fertility monitor.
A prediction kit that will tell you when you are ovulating and can improve the chances of pregnancy. Ovulation prediction kits work by reading LH surges before the process of ovulation and can accurately predict your ovulation. Fertility monitors, such as the Clear Blue Easy monitor, are also good tools if you want to get pregnant fast. These are same as that of kits but they also predict changes in the hormones in addition to the LH level and do not work on guesses.
Tip # 3. To get pregnant faster have sex before ovulation (not after).
There is only small time of each month for you to get pregnant. After ovulation the eggs survive 24 hrs approximately. Sperm have a life of 3-5 days. That is the reason that if you have sex before ovulation there are more chances of getting pregnant. Try to have it at least 2-3 days early before ovulation. Don’t wait until the day you ovulate to have sex because your partner’s sperm will last for more days, therefore don’t miss the opportunity of getting pregnant.
Tip # 4. Don’t rely on the Calendar method for predicting ovulation.
Most couples have sex around day fourteen of your cycle assuming the normal cycle of 28 days. This is better than picking up an arbitrary day for sex. Many women do not ovulate on day fourteen and knowing the time when you ovulate will give better results afterwards. Ovulation prediction kits, looking at previous month’s bbt charts, or watching for signs of ovulation all are different ways of determining your ovulation time.
